The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in good decorative order.
The putto with yellow drapes -- his left hand broken through at wrist and restuck, further restoration to his left toes and broken through his right forearm and restored, with overpaint which extends to the female child's back.
The child with headdress -- restoration to her right fingers and thumb, and to her right toes.
Further restoration to violin bow. There is a crack running from the top of the base at the stool leg, down and underneath the base and a further crack to the seat of the stool. Short firing crack to base, mostly visible to underside. Overall some chipping, losses and restorations to applied flowers and leaves, occasional minor firing flaw or chip, wear to gilding and enamels. Some areas of re-gilding.
