The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue description:
- the full sheet
- a made-up paper loss at the upper right corner.
- a repaired tear at upper centre sheet edge approx. 30 mm.
- another at the centre left sheet edge approx. 20 mm.
- another at the lower centre sheet edge approx. 35 mm.
- another at the lower centre sheet edge at right approx. 35 mm.
- a few other smaller repaired tears and nicks at the sheet edges.
- some soft creasing at the sheet edges.
- some pale surface dirt in the margins and verso.
