Sale Overview
No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition is a new, online addition to the Post-War and Contemporary sale season this October at Christie’s. As a ‘no-reserve’ sale, works by artists working across Europe, Asia and the Americas are accessible to all kinds of collectors, and particularly for those looking to start their collection. In the spirit of Frieze, each lot will be offered at a starting bid of GBP 100, with unique pieces as well as editions and photographs on offer.
Alongside well-known artists such as Nobuyoshi Araki, Gilbert & George and Marc Quinn, No Regrets presents a selection of boundary-breaking artists who are experimenting with their media and incorporating new materials: including Paul McCarthy’s chocolate Santa, Peter Sutherland’s graffiti water bottle, and Nina Katchadourian’s salt and pepper shakers.
Other highlights include sculptures by The Haas Brothers, Claudia Comte and Nicole Wermers and paintings by Pearl C. Hsiung, Mike Bouchet and Ji Wen Yu. At Christie’s, collecting exciting, high-quality contemporary art has never been easier.
The sale is open for bidding from 1-18 October across the Frieze London season, with a selection of highlights on view at Christie’s King Street from 1-4 October.
