The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- printed around 1600, with various wormholes and gaps in the block, and with 21 birds in the sky (instead of 22 as in earlier impressions)
- on sturdy laid paper.
- with thread margins, trimmed to the borderline in places.
- the left sheet edge uneven.
- some pale staining at upper left.
- a few small, unobtrusive foxmarks.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
