Shrove Tuesday

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed inside the platemark but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the subject in most places.
- trimmed just underneath the text below.
- the lower left sheet edge slightly irregular, with tiny nicks and losses outside the image.
- remains of old paper hinges at the sheet corners verso.
- some old adhesive staining verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
