The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Executed on laid paper, laid down at the top left-hand corner to the artist's original mount, which is also laid paper, countermark LV. The paper is in overall good condition and the media remain clear and strong. There has been some discolouration to the paper. There are a couple of minor spots of staining and surface dirt visible.

Executed on laid paper, laid down on card. The paper is in overall good condition and the media remain clear and strong. There has been some discolouration to the paper. The paper is acid-stained, this is especially evident at the edges of the sheet. There is a small tear in the upper right-hand quadrant. There are some minor spots of staining and surface dirt visible. The framing lines have been trimmed off along the bottom edge. There is a minor scratch across the tree, resulting in some loss of the wash.
