Alexander Drogo Montagu, 10th Duke of Manchester (1902-1977), and by inheritance to the present owner.

This picture is thought to have been in the sitter's collection and brought in May 1534 to Kimbolton Castle, where Katherine remained until her death in January 1536 (see W. Montagu, op. cit., 1864).
