People Watching: The Art of L.S. Lowry.  An online auction devoted to original paintings and drawings by L.S. Lowry, whose familiar characters and evocative scenes of Northern life give a unique view of the human condition.  The highlight of this sale is a finely crafted group of eleven works sold from a private collection with an emphasis on the theme that defines Lowry’s art: the industrial landscape and the people who inhabited it. Positioned at the heart of our summer season, this dedicated sale will take place during 20^th Century at Christie’s, led by ONE: A Global Sale of the 20^th Century.
