The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The rim with some wear, and one nick to the black glaze. Pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. Some scattered light surface scratches. The underside with some light surface dirt and the remnants of an old adhesive label. The footrim with one small chip, a few nicks and some light scuff marks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
