The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. One vase: surface with light scratches, rubbing and wear to enamels, the rim with light surface wear.
One vase: B-de-Lavergne, Paris, label to base.
One cover: the finial with flaked chip max. approximately 0.6 cm. diam.; the inner rim of cover with small flake chip 0.7 cm. x 0.3 cm.
Light touching up to edge of cover possibly to conceal fritting.
One cover: restored section to rim measuring 8 cm. with associated area of overpainting and overspraying measuring max. approximately 8 cm. diam.
