The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There are some surface irregularities coherent with the artist's working method. There are some vertical cracks in the wood, coherent with the nature of the material used. There are some handling marks and rubbing in places. There are some abrasions in places, most notably in the lower quadrant and a vertical one in the upper area of the back. There is a pattern of surface staining on the reverse. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
