The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The edges of the sheet are attached intermittently to a mount.
There is minor creasing to the sheet overall, most notably to the lower right corner. The sheet has cockled slightly. The edges are slightly irregular and uneven.
There are a few small scattered patches of water staining to the sheet overall.
There is a line of acidic discolouration along the edges of the sheet. There are a few faint scattered spots of foxing overall.
The sheet has discoloured overall and the pigments have faded slightly.
There is some surface dirt overall and a few specks of stray pigments overall. The gold pigments have slightly degraded.
