The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Some historic, and inactive, woodworm to the thumb, with associated timber loss.

The smaller arm (right hand):
The ebonised hand with losses and rubbing to decoration, with evidence of giding previously.
The index finger and thumb broken historically and reattached and decorated over.
The border to niche loose and would require securing.
Losses to the crown points, and some pieces reattached.
Otherwise both highly decorative and stable.
