Each canvas has been relined. Each not examined out of frame. Each with minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges, with surface soiling and scattered pinpoints of pigment loss. The example with books with an abrasion to the center running the length of the canvas, with associated pigment losses, with an approx. 11⁄2 in. hairline scratch at the lower left quadrant and with pigment losses, including a 1⁄4 in. circular loss to the black background. The example with figs with the canvas warping slightly, with scattered hairline scratches, including an approx. 1 in. scratch at the center fig, an approx. 1 in. scratch at center left and an approx. 3⁄4 in. scratch at the center right. The example of the basket with various fruits with the canvas warping slightly, some flaking and some losses to the apple and melon in the basket. The example with shellfish with larger pigment losses and abrasions to the extreme upper and left edges, with two vertical hairline scratches to the center foreground. Each examined under ultraviolet light. Each canvas presents with a milky green varnish. The examples with books and with the basket of various fruits with strokes of inpainting.
