Sale Overview
This October, Christie’s Dubai will offer a curated selection of over 160 modern and vintage timepieces from the most sought-after brands. Leading the sale is a unique Patek Philippe - an incredible one-off reference that was developed around a 13.43 carat portrait-cut diamond - the third largest of its kind known and serves ingeniously as the watch’s crystal. Entirely unique and historically important, the reference 3843/1 also has a custom 18k white gold bracelet and dial to fit the case. Fans of avant-garde watchmaking will be impressed by the Richard Mille RM17-01, an impressive and rare skeletonised manual-winding tourbillon wristwatch in the brand’s characteristic tonneau-shaped case. We are also proud to present a selection of rare and attractive “Arabic dial” vintage Rolex Day-Date models gifted by his late Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said and a stunning Patek Phillipe Ref. 5077, one of just 20 pieces ever made, depicting an enamel dial with a miniature painting of two Arab huntsmen engaged in the art of falconry.
All the watches will be on view from 10am–7pm every day from 5–19 October at our gallery in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
