Lot Essay

Offered in like new overall condition, the present Black Bay wristwatch in bronze was specially developed for the renowned watch retailer Bucherer.

Using Bucherer’s corporate color blue, the watch builds on the success of the Black Bay Bronze by adding a touch of modernity to the model. Keeping the 43 mm. diameter brushed bronze case with bevels to the lugs and the oversized crown, the dial shows the 3-6-9 indexes proper to the bronze version, signature snowflake hands and gilded inscriptions. Adding to the success of the model, the wristwatch features Tudor’s manufacture movement, the reputable self-winding calibre MT5601 with 70 hours power reserve, COSC certification and amagnetic silicon balance spring.

Founded in 1888, Bucherer counts approximately 16 stores in Switzerland, 10 stores in Germany, 1 store in each of Vienna and Copenhagen, as well as the world’s largest watch and jewellery store in Paris.
