Christie’s Wine Department is delighted to present a fantastic single-owner collection of the world’s finest wines in a special Geneva online-only auction this September. Coming from a gorgeous underground cellar with temperature and humidity control, the collection has been put together with thought and attention. Purchasing only from trusted agencies and direct from producers, the owners of this collection are wine lovers, who now wish to share their immaculate bottles with Christie’s clients. A stellar parcel of Bordeaux leads the sale, with First Growths from top vintages sure to interest collectors. Other exceptional highlights include Château Lafite Rothschild 2005, Château Mouton Rothschild 1982, Château Haut Brion 1989 and Petrus 2015 alongside various vintages of Château Hosanna and Château Trotanoy. Burgundy is represented by top names, Domaine Armand Rousseau with Chambertin, Domaine Arlaud with Charmes-Chambertin and further down the Côte, Domaine Meo-Camuzet with their special lieu-dit of Clos de Vougeot, the glorious Grand Maupertuis. Domaine Roulot and the estate’s wonderful Chardonnays from Meursault will thrill white wine lovers and Marc Colin also makes a rare appearance. For bubbles lovers, Salon from the beautiful 2002 and 1997 vintages is offered and Cristal is a dazzling treat. Elsewhere, we also see rarities such as Vin de Constance, Didier Dagueneau, Edmond Vatan Clos la Néore, Jura’s Château Chalon and spicy Rhônes from Chave, Auguste Clape and the sensational Domaine Jamet.
