One page, 220 x 120mm, ink on lined paper; with transmittal envelope addressed in Cohen's hand.

Recalibrating with Zen Buddhism, Cohen describes monastic life at Mount Baldy: “I’m cleaning myself up on the top of a mountain with some zen monks and students—very rigorous disciplined life—rise at 3:30am, manual labor, etc.” He closes, “Keep well. It always makes me feel better to know that you are doing fine.” He tells her a check is on the way from his New York office and offers, "I'll see if there's anything you can do in London—I'll be over there next week."
