The prints in this copy of 11 Pop Artists, Vol. 1 have remained within the covers of the portfolio since it was acquired in 1969 from Sonnabend Gallery, Paris. Several of the prints in the portfolio have pin-point foxing, or other time related condition issues. There is some wear to the original covers.
TOM WESSELMANN, Cut-out Nude: - scattered pin-point foxing to the cut-out card mount. - some tiny abrasions to the sheet edges, mainly visible verso. Image, Sheet 509 x 608 mm.
ANDY WARHOL, Jacqueline Kennedy I (Feldman & Schellmann II.13): - stamp signed and numbered verso (as issued). - the full sheet. - pale scattered foxing, in places within the subject and margins recto, and verso. - a tiny crease at the lower right sheet tip. Image, Sheet 610 x 508 mm.
ROY LICHTENSTEIN, Moonscape (Corlett 37): - signed, dated and numbered in pencil verso (as issued). - the full sheet. - a couple of lighter flecks of blue in the Rowlux upper left, presumably integral to the material. - otherwise in very good condition. Image, Sheet 506 x 608 mm.
ALLAN D'ARCANGELO, Landscape I: - scattered foxing in the subject near the edges recto, and verso. Image, Sheet 610 x 505 mm.
