Details
The first small rectangular seal is with an irregular upper corner, the sides and seal face have been left blank. The second seal is with blank top and sides, and the base is inscribed with two characters zan hou, possibly a name. The stone is of mottled brownish-grey color suffused with bright vermillion-red inclusions.
Tianhuang seal: 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) high
'Chicken blood' seal: 1 in. (2.5 cm.) high


Provenance
Acquired prior to 1939, and thence by descent within the family.
