A group of three Puerto Rican League player contracts for legendary Negro League great James “Buster” Clarkson (1915-1989) including: a contract for the 1941/42 season between Clarkson and the Mayaguez club for $55 a week plus expenses, signed James Clarkson in black ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses; a contract for the 1949/50 season between Clarkson and the Ponce club for $800 a month plus expenses, signed James Clarkson in black ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses; and a contract for the 1953/54 season between Clarkson and the Santurce club for $500 a month plus expenses, signed James Clarkson in sepia ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses. Overall Excellent condition.
