The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right
- the red muted, the yellow slightly attenuated
- pale time staining
- a few soft and unobtrusive creases along the sheet edges, four unobtrusive oblique printer's creases at the upper sheet edge, all visible under a raking light
- hinged in places on the reverse, with remains of old paper hinges, with occasional associated skinning
Otherwise as described and in good condition, framed.
